Here's a little thing kinda similar:

The dam broke after a great heavy rain and people were evacuating, except for one guy who said "God will rescue me".

Hours pass and the water is up to the guy's door, and here comes a rescue boat.
"No thanks, God will rescue me" and they leave.

A few more hours and the guy is on the top floor because the bottom floor is flooded. Another boat comes. "No thanks, God will rescue me".

Hours pass and now the guy's on the tip of his roof because his house is almost completely under water, when a helicopter comes by. "No thanks, God will rescue me".

He drowns and meets God and asks "Why didn't you rescue me?"
God says "I sent you two boats and a helicopter, idiot".

Dude, here comes your helicopter.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. It also can make you put her on a pedestal, and seem like she's greater than she really is. Sounds very promising. But don't go too fast or too hard. Take your time with it. And learn some lessons from your history with the ex. Otherwise, if she's really "the one", it will play out naturally. Good luck.

You bring up a good point Fett. Clearly Burn needs to steer her into a high-paying specialty so she'll be able to pick up the tab herself. That also Shreddermon's "not too fast" criteria since those usually require specialized training or longer internships. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
