Some of these work with batteries and some plug into the lighter socket. If you get the plug in style, make sure that the moving truck has a lighter socket. Many fleet vehicles have these removed to discourage smoking in them.
not saying headphones and driving is a great idea, but when you are driving cross country, you are on LONG stretches of single lane interstate where you are the only one on the road for miles. just sayin that if you keep the volume low, you could manage. flame away!
I installed an FM Modulator because the Apple iTrip fm transmitter thing is total crap sound quality and usability wise.
The FM modulator cost $20 at walmart and goes inline with the FM antenna and then you power it off the cigarette lighter. It is like the transmitter, but is wired into the vehicle. The sound quality and dial in are tons better, but depending on where you live the thin Pat (TXCharvel) has will work ok.
Austin blows with all the FM noise.
