    I live in MPLS. Huge story here.

    Was a great guy but the pukes on the news have to mention the domestic problems he had and say he was a "tarnished hero."

    I can't stand the media - they make me sick.

    Kirby was probably the most loved sports hero of all time of any sport here in Minnesota.

      Both the '87 and '91 series wins were a big deal for Minnesoatians, whose sports fans have been yearning for anything relative to a ball in sports to be proud of (and weren't getting it from the Vikings.) Kirby helped ignite an infectious Minnesota spirit and unite us even if we weren't die hard baseball fans. He did alot of good when he was here, and when he was on top, he was one of the best.
