The Top Fuel bikes are pretty insane too. I mean, 1000 horsepower in a bike. And the noise, especially on those with V2 engines. When idling, they sound like consecutive explosions. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near one of those when they rev it up, let alone drive them. The drivers must have a serious deathwish. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

The sensation you get when you are right down at the launch pad is unreal, A friend has a suite at Pomona and that gets you access to the area just to the right of the start area, your chest literally resonates from the sound waves and the ground does shake, NHRA is the coolest game in town and always lots of babes at the races. I wish they still made REAL Hemi cars again, it almost makes me cry thinking about it [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] If Chrysler does come out with the new Challenger, they should offer it with a 426 Hemi with about 450-500 HP. Jack.

I know man! It's my old age...I can't take loud noises (too many years of playing guitar without protection), due to work I'm in bed during the week by 10...so I'm getting tired on the weekends by 9, and I actually now listen to AM talk radio in the car on the way home from work. I suck...it's friggin depressing LOL..I'm an old man!
