I thought "Ten" actually had some well written songs but they managed to drift off into heroin-addict land without even getting that one magical album before the crash out of it.

I agree Jack but I wonder how much of that is the production. I've not seen them live but they always struck me as one of those bands like Big Head Todd that's about 10x as heavy live as they are on record.

I think they suck, I despise alternative/grunge rock.
