            I'm just a little bit dissapointed because of the attitude I have seen here lately. Too much "I eat glass and nails, seal-grumbling rUUlzz, everything wich isn't metal is gay, I don't know you so fuck off" etc.
            Maybe it's just my "thing" but I think it scares some people away.

              It isn't and she knows it. She posted in the 311 thread in the Artists section, so I don't know why she's pulling the attitude.

              Sorry hon, Pearl Jam isn't very popular around here, as you've seen. Laugh off some of the comments, move on, find another topic, and stay on the board. Not everyone's going to like the same things. Just because we don't see the magic in Pearl Jam that you do doesn't make us bad people.

                Stick around, and you'll be surprised by the diversity of some of the stuff folks around here like. Self included. And folks are typically very accepting of those wide ranging musical tastes. To each his own. But, yes, it's a metal-dominated board.

                And there's pretty much a general agreement here that (musical-talent speaking) PJ sucks. Their tool of a lead singer just makes it all the more worse. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

                    PJ didn't kill the music the media just pushed it into the underground nothing worthy died. Popularity waned but that isn't that bad of a thing IMO. I have always liked stuff that was not as popular though.

                      The Ten album was ok, but everything after that really sucks. I think a lot of the music on that album was written before Eddie Vedder joined the band, which is why it has the occasional recognizable vocal melody and such. His "straining on the toilet" vocal approach doesn't do it for me. As far as the rest of the band, eh, they're ok. I liked the 8-string bass work on Ten, but that's about the only instrumental thing that ever caught my attention.

                                Wasn't or is the singer that sang for temple of a dog the same singer who sings for audioslave? Just thinking out loud and wondering so.
