Any of you guys use any of the paysites for downloading songs? What are the best ones? I'm asking for my brothers kids, so one without porn files etc...would be best. Strictly music files I guess.

Re: Best music download paysites?
I've been a MusicMatch member for almost two years. I love it.

legality is questionable, but it works amazingly well. Entire albums for < $1, most tunes less than 10 cents.

Re: Best music download paysites?
I use Emusic: http://www.emusic.com/ .
They do not have a lot of popular music, but they have some decent variety for underground metal, some blues, a lot of old jazz, and some classical. If you like to listen to music "under the radar" you might want to check it out. The pricing structure is a bit odd - you pay a monthly fee and get a limited number of downloads per month. I bought a whole year in advance, so for about 13 bucks a month I get 65 songs, all completely legal. Here is some stuff I picked up:
Malmsteen
Joe Stump
Anathema
Leaves Eyes
CCR
Albert King
Bad Religion
Black Label Society
Blues Saraceno
Brad Gillis
Chinchilla
Cradle Of Filth
Crowbar
Count Basie
Death Angel
Derek Trucks
Django
Draconian
Emperor
Duke Ellington
Firewind
Frank Zappa
Gary Hoey
Green Carnation
Hollenthon
Insania
Joe Pass
John Coltrane
Johny Winter
Kenziner
Louis Armstrong
Mayhem
Metalium
Miles Davis
Morbid Angel
Opeth
Paradise Lost
Pennywise
Power Simphony
Steve Howe
The Sins of Thy Beloved
Tristania
Vintersorg
Wes Montgomery
Y&T
If anyone is interested let me know because I get bonus downloads if I make referals. I don't want to seem like I'm hawking it too much, but I do use it and I've found more than one new band here.
