Seems a bunch of you are fans of the show. Great season huh? The funniest thing about the end of season show last night was when Dutch tried the pimps philosiphy on the hottie rookie....will this dude ever score? Shane is a crazy mofo

Shane is crazy/stupid enough to get himself killed. Antoine almost killed him, and if it weren't for Vic he'd be 6-ft under. He really f-d up in a major way. It's a race now. Who's going to get Shane first... Vic, Dutch, or Kavanaugh.

That show kicks some serious ass. I didn't catch it until this season, but I'm going to DL the previous eps. If they are sweet, I'll buy them if they are on DVD. Nothing says bring back a show more than it being watched, and bought on DVD.

I love the shield, i've been watching since season 1. I think 1 and 2 were the best seasons, last season i thought really really sucked, but this season was better, but not as good as first 2 IMO.

As much as I liked the "Lem" character, overall, he was a liability. He was always "on the fence" and I pretty much determined his destiny when he torched thousands of "money train" dollars.

Shane's biggest mistake was using the grenade. First, the strike team had just made a bust earlier that day which included crates full of pineapples. Dutch will be the one to eventually say "why did all the crates have 24 grenades except one?"

As for Cavanaugh, I'll be glad when they write his character out of the series. I like Forrest Whitaker, but his appearance and speech patterns irritate the shit out of me. Half the time, I can't understand his low level dribbling. In other words, SPEAK UP BITCH!

I think next years season needs to have Dutch strangling some new pussy. Hopefully it will be his little assistant and then she can file sexual harassment on his goofy ass.

I'd be very surprised if ol' Forrest is back. He was good in his role, but that part has been played and wouldn't really offer much to the story next season. (Also, that eyelid thing...weirded me out, like in every show/movie he does.)

I liked Lem, but gotta agree with Germandeth - he was bound to die.

Not too much more than the series. Some documentary stuff about the series, interviews with cast and writers, but that's about it.

With that said, I have all except for the last one and I shall be getting it soon. Honestly, if it weren't for the box set, I probably wouldn't have given the show a chance. An ex-girlfriend gave me Season 1 on DVD watched it in one day, from there I was hooked.

Rent them. They are awesome!!!! I think season 4 was the least riviting but all other seasons were amazing.

I have seasons 1 2 and 3 on dvd and even my parents (63 years old) got addictedto them. Do yo have a dvd burner?
