Got home from work tonight and found Socks, the cat we rescued, dead in front of my house. She had been hit by a car.

I'm sorry too, JTF. Had to have one of my old ladies (approx. 17 or 18) put down a few months ago & expecting her sister to go the same way soon. Heart wrenching. My thoughts with you too.Wal - Good from far, but far from goodComment

Damn that sucks, I can tell you are real animal lover, and it's so tough when you lose one, sorry to hear it. You can see here the terrible fate that stray animals get around my household, wood heater in foreground is nice and hot on a 35 degree night, (skeeter,bubba,and boomer)

A friend had to put her 13 year old Husky down today,she was not well..Has been rather solemn here today.Maggie was a sweet puppy..Bon Jovi is like a frozen Coca Cola.. It's cool, it's crunchy, but when all is said and done it is still pop....
