  • Loudness in NC Apr 2

Goin to see a band I wished I could have in the late 80's.
Friend saw them in NY a few days ago and said it's a must see.
    Original lineup I believe.

Hell,I'd take a vacation day Monday for an opportunity to see Akira live..
Bon Jovi is like a frozen Coca Cola.. It's cool, it's crunchy, but when all is said and done it is still pop....

Where in Raleigh are you audiophile? I'm near Garner.
Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.

Some friends of mine just opened for them here in Cleveland..But I missed the show..

I heard that Akira was amazing!
"Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"
        Donnie Swanstrom 01/25/06..miss ya!

"Well, your friend would have Bell's Palsy, which is a facial paralysis, not "Balls Pelsy" like we're joking about here." Toejam's attempt at sensitivity.

          I'm actually in Cary.

My friend who moved to NY said exactly that. Akira was pure evil and took no prisoners. Tore it up. And the club appears quite small, so should be a good opportunity to see him hit it.

I work in Cary in Regency Park. I'm directly across the street from the Amphitheater.

                  Pix most def of course.

                  Funny, it is FayetteNam.
However, I went to see Def Leppard do their free concert at the Wal-Mart grand Opening there lmfao, and there wasn't much of a military turnout. Was a big mix of everything else tho.
Great dam show n sound for a parking lot. And for free..
I should post those pix heh

I saw them the week before last here in Detroit. If you expecting to hear the old school stuff, you'll be out of luck as the show consisted mainly (90%) of newer material.

The Akira can play his ass off no doubt, but I didn't really care for his tone... it was like an ice pick in the ear. Of course, it could have been the clubs PA system. Your mileage may vary...

Oh man, I would love to see Loudness. Last time I saw them was in '87 when they opened for Motley on the Theatre tour. Akira kicked big ass!!!
