          well I implemented all the suggestions, tried another burn last night and it did me the same way, coastered another disc. I got the error code from the screen this time though and will have to dig through the Apple online help page to see if I can dx this shit.

          and although I love my iPod, I HATE how iTunes takes over your whole computer and dominates all media files. now I can't even use my Roxio to burn mp3's, they are all taken over by iTunes. that pisses me off.

            I believe you can go into Roxio preferences and navigate to File Types (or something like that) and have Roxio take over certain types of files again.
