ok, since yesterday, the whole town has been smelling like fish market.
I live 5mins from the ocean but does this happen to you guys who live close by ocean?
What makes this smell so bad? The temperature has been raising too.
Is that one of reasons?

I live in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.
I smell this awful fish smell outside since last night so I am staying inside since then.

Drink enough tequilla and you won't notice the fish after awhile. Hell, you won't notice anything after awhile!

I live a few miles from the Mississippi river. I get a rivery-fish smell on some days. Usually when it's really humid and the wind is right.

Can you see the water? Any seaweed washed up on the beach or floating in the water? We get this red seaweed that floats up on the beach every once in a while and it smells like fish

I'm wondering if a local fish market hasn't gotten in a fresh shipment of in-season fish....and the breeze is just blowing the smell in your direction?

It's the spawn for most fish Toru. They are doing the nasty. In abundance. lol That's why it smells fishy. Spring and Fall depending on the fish, but the majority spawn in spring.
