Now I can be sympathetic towards people that come to this country to make a better life for themselves. My parents came here (legally) and made a great life for themselves just fine, just like millions of other people. Why these people feel they need to demand anything and then hang our flag upside down is freaking insane. Now, this is getting out of hand. Our Latin friends were here before we were. You history buffs will remember that they took the land away from the Indians. We took it away from them and offed the Indians. We also bought a lot of land from the French (suckers!!!). Mexico could be a great counrty, but it isn't. This whole thing is nothing more than a diversion away from the real issues. Iraq; Bush dieing in the polls; healthcare that no one can afford; Iran; and whatever. This "problem" started decades ago. Did we do anything about it then? Nooooo!!! Why? Because all those people from the South picked our veggies and fruit. Now they work in meatpacking plants; sweatshops; Taco Bells and in our gardens. Did any of you smug ass brats want to do that? Nooooo. That's why they are here. When I was going through college I worked at a Hunts cannary (sp). Would you do that? Nooooo!!!! You can't have it both ways. If you want cheap food or clothes and people to do what you won't do, stop complaining and let them blow off steam. History is a good thing. And letting the masses, legal or illegal, vent is OK, too.

The Wal-Mart here is entirely in Spanish, signs and everything. Hardly a soul speaks english and all of the intercom announcements are in Spanish. It's an INS paradise, let me tell ya.
