  • Need some specific 80s song recommendations!

Anyone have any 80s song recommendations along the lines of the following? I've included listenable examples.

Kenny Loggins - "Danger Zone" (Top Gun soundtrack)

Paul Engemann - "Push It To The Limit" (Scarface soundtrack)
Paul Engemann's profile including the latest music, albums, songs, music videos and more updates.

Def Leppard - "Ring Of Fire"

Know what I'm talking about? Songs that invoke a feeling of blasting the car stereo on a warm summer day with the convertible top down and driving through the city.

Please include links to other examples if possible. Thanks in advance!

Survivor - Eye of the Tiger
Autograph - Turn up the Radio

Only 2 I can think of off the top of my head.

I couldn't find that Pretty Maids song.

However, Wulfe's songs kick ass. Forgot about "Eye Of The Tiger"... awesome.

Another one I had on my computer was Huey Lewis And The News - "The Power Of Love" (Back To The Future soundtrack):

Bryan Adams - "Summer Of 69"

                    Reckless by Judas Priest.

It was supposed to be the Top Gun theme, but Priest wouldn't allow it because that would have meant they couldn't release it themselves.

Since you're a Maiden fan, how about ASAP (Adrian Smith and Project) - Silver and Gold was the name of the album. Adrian handled lead vocals as well as guitar. He's got a pretty good voice. The album came out in 1989.

it's just a good 80's "getting ready to go out partying" metal song.
