In my opinion, the ultimate (and cheesiest, but in a good way) 80's cruising song is Racer X - "Lady Killer". Or try "Heart of a Lion," from the same album.

Rush...anything by Rush. All the way up to...Hold your fire. Power windows had respectable shit on it...Red sector a or some thing like that. I'm too burnt too remember every song but I remember Rush,
                Skunk #1 X Northern Lights...Mushrooms...Dokken, Scorpions, etc.
When I recall the best of times I remember Rush.
When I recall all the fagass mtv shit, I recall learning to play La Villa Strangiato, 2112, and the shittier the mtv shit got, the more I listened to Rush...and Judas Priest...and Iron Maiden
                Until I heard Mercyful Fate...Megadeth...Metallica.

Other than Rush?...Molly Hatchet Flirtin with Disaster. That was '80 something wasn't it? Tesla didn't suck...except that sappy ballad LoveSong or whatever it was. I hated shit like that. I was in a band that played "Rock Me" and everytime we played it I went to the bar for shots. Unplugged, breaktime...bored me to tears. Band kicked ME out. Go Figure.:ROTF:
