Journey is coming to FL in July too, so that's something to look forward to.

      what about you guys
Hey, iv got my Uni finals end of may then i think im going to travel europe with a couple of good mates. Ive seen some train tickets valid for all of europe for a month for under £300, its a bargain really.
Iv never had the chance to travel but this is the last chance il get before I have to join the corporate rat race in september and all my previous summers have been spent driving fork lift trucks in and out of bigger trucks in order to save money for University (and guitars!)

The only thing I have "planned" for the summer is the NAMM show in Austin this July.

Gonna try and finish my fucking album. Got some time off in July and I hope to complete all the guitars and vocals in those 3 weeks.

I'm also gonna paint my garage that I drywalled last year and put up some shelves.

Some shows to see too - Slayer and Children of Bodom, Sounds Of The Underground...should be a good summer.

Learn some new tunes with my son the drummer. He is only 10, but he has proven to be quite the little skin slapper!

Oh man it's gonna be a great one that's all I know. Sand, sun, cruising on my skateboard or chopper bicycle (the greatest contraption ever assembled)and catching raps with all kinds of people on the beach or while I'm cruising by it. This is the greatest little corner of the world that I could have possibly found. I love my home, and I thank God every morning that I live where I live, right after I'm done cursing at him-lol

sounds like the life, Big T. I always wanted one of those chopper bikes. If I had one, I might slow down when I'm riding and enjoying the sights. I've always been too big for a BMX, so I grew up on racers. So I was always leaning over the handlebars and tearing around in top gear. Great fun, but laying back on a cruiser would give you a different view of the world. Now I'm probably too heavy for the skinny tires on a racer, so I've got a cheap Kmart mountain bike, which still keeps me sitting up over the handlebars.

Did you buy the chopper, or build it yourself? I remember kids in my neighbourhood sourcing bike bits to put together these cool monstrosities. BMX or cruiser frames with a nobbly back tire and long forks from a racer, butterfly handlebars & whippy flags, and a dink seat. The front wheel would either be a racer wheel, to really raise the front and lay you right back, or a tiny kiddy bike wheel to make the forks look reeeeally stretched.

I bought my daughter a cool cruiser for xmas. It's all shiny silver, great swooped frame, butterfly handlebars, pedals are forward to sit her back in the seat. I just wish I could ride it

                              get married

Get used to owning a house, being married, buy a new guitar, get used to not living at my parent's house, try not to gain too much weight (quote from my fiance's friend talking to each other... " I can not wait to come over to your house and bake cookies from Zach (me)"

Should be a good summer. My first as a married man.
