No doubt! I found the location...east of Moses Lake, WA (central WA)

Also, the seller could've done a little more research and found that JFK visited the base in 1963. (I found a pic). The 568TH STRATEGIC MISSILE SQUADRON was in operation from April 1961 to March 1965.

Little news article. There's a link to a video, but I can't get it to work.

Okay, this is kinda weird. When I saw this thread I kind of laughed to myself and said, "Great place for a JCF International Headquatrers." I thought I'd post a joke about how much each of us would have to chip in to buy it.

So, asking price $3.95 million - I figured $4 mill with closing, divided by approx. 6000 members. The per member price is:

            $666.66!!!!!!!!!!!!

            MUAHAHAHAHAH!!

I remember back 10 years ago these things were selling for dirt cheap. I saw one that was $32,000. Granted, a lot of it was flooded and needed to be pumped out and all. It looked different than this one too. It had one huge massive roof that rolled off to open the silo for use. I think it was somewhere in the midwest too, as in nowhere. Looks cool though, just not 4 million cool.

All the joke bids have been removed.. now sitting at $900,500.00
That's pretty cheap for 57 acres of land and a missle complex.
There are houses a mile down the street from me that cost more than that.

Rich, you have to divide by ACTIVE members

                    3.95 mil / 1197 = $3299

I found a satellite pic,,,yes it is in Batum, near the corner of Batum Rd & Seidl Rd. There are 2 other silo complexes in the area, this one is #1, aka "Odessa"

                    Check out more pics
