one thing with ambien is that you LIKE the buzz so you try and stay awake..but you actually "trip" and do fucked up things that you can't remeber..until your wife tells you the next day...like the time I smooshed watermelon all over my head and table and passed out all sticky with watermelon seeds all stuck on me..you know..stuff like that!!
Bill...my girlfriend is an "every other nightly" Ambien user, and yes...it has the same effect on her. She says it's like a combination of being drunk and stoned with a little euphoric feeling stuck in there for good measure.
Only problem is...I don't know when she takes it, it works almost immediately, and when we have sex...she forgets we did it!!
(NO COMMENTS FROM THE PEANUT FUCKIN' GALLERY EITHER!)...LOL!

A nice 25% vodka screwdriver fixes me up. I used to just take a big swig of Nyquil. Coming from a long, proud line of raging alcoholics I guess I should lay off the booze a bit tho.

I used to stay up all night one day a week, that seemed to make me sleep better the rest of the week. If you're like me and your mind goes like 100 mph when you go to bed, you can also try forcing yourself to think only about relaxing and breathing slow and deep... that also helps me. I'd also recommend getting your sleep hours as regular as you can. That's my homemade Zen-yoga-going-to-sleep advice.

Exactly...I forgot I had sex too...I had to ask the wife if we did it..which is romantic..

I did the stupidest shit on ambien..I mean STUPID..once I carried the dude that was working on my house up and down the stairs..just running around the house with him over my shoulder..

all he did was hope that I didn't drop him and poop out..I did..I passed out..

The next day ..my dude told me about it..I thought that was a dream..but no..I actually did that..OMFG!!!:ROTF:

Man, I felt bad..I was so embarrased..

Hey that Kennedy was caught just recently doing stupid shit..he was on ambien and went for a drive..then he went to the media and tried to explain..

Ambien is the cloest thing to acid I ever had..I mean I saw fucking Midgets...ask my wife..I was chasing midgets..

        Then I passed out..

How about, regular sleep schedules, 8 hours of sleep a night, maybe some exercise during the day? Oh, too much common sense....

I find that drinking now seems to raise my body temp or something.I am talking even a few and I have to open all the windows and will actually sweat just sitting there.......ponderous. On a side note I am told I also become obnoxious...although I have seen no evidence of that

Yes, that was what i was getting at. Stress, not happy, too lazy? - like no exercise? I sleep badly when i've been really lazy like sitting all day at the computer. Running fixes that.

that's definitely not it, I run 6-8 miles a day about 4-5 times a week.

My wife has done some crazy shit on Ambien, one night I was asleep and at 3 am she decides she's gonna get on the bed and clean the ceiling fan. Another time she spen an hour talking to "The lady in the mirror". There was another time I woke up because of some noise and she was in the living room bouncing off the furniture naked from the waist down. I bent her over the love seat and nailed her.
Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.

Seriously, when i train hard on my bike i sometimes can't find rest in the evening. But that's called overtraining and can easily be fixed. Well Gio i dunno... i'm not a doctor

I've worked out hard, and still had insomnia. It's stressing out or worries up the ying yang. Excersise is great for regulating your sleep hours, but if you have overhanging walls coming down on you , sleep is all but just a wish for me when my guns were out of bullets.
