I've only added one more Jackson since I signed on here, what....5 years ago? 6 years? Can't remember.

I have added 5 Charvels though.

This place has been a invaluable resource to me. Because of this place, I picked up a RR2 and everyone here helped me ID my 85 Jackson San Dimas Archtop employee guitar. I am forever grateful for this place. This place is da Mystery Machine =). You have no idea how many people looked at this thing and couldn't give me one bit of friggen info besides "Badass Axe man." Then I walk into this place, issue a few photos and someone tells me that I have a holy grail. Now the guitar hasn't left the house since then. DAMN YOU ALL!!!! Now, if someone could tell me about my ESP Horizon... I would avoid going to that friggen rats nest hell hole of a board....

This place has become one of the 3 places I visit on the internet since then. Now if you all could cure my fear of buying guitars online, I would be stoked =)

Having bought three Jackson/Charvels and also having placed an order for a custom Jackson Stars since joining, I'd say yes.

My first Jackson was a deep metallic blue Kelly Standard in the early '90s, I sold it. When I joined here a long time ago, I had one '94 Dinky HX (black, string-thru), and I still have it. I eventually got a red Dinky HX after that, as well as a purple Dinky Reverse, candy apple green Dinky Reverse, black Kelly XLR, black Warrior MG with PS4 neck. All were Professional Japanese models. Then I wound up getting my first and only USA Jackson, a black JJP. I also wound up getting an '87 black cherry Charvel Model 6, then traded that for an '88 black cherry Model 5A. I've since sold all of them except for the black Dinky HX, recently got my first USA Charvel, a black Standard Star. I've also got other guitars, but I seem to gravitate more to the Jacksons and Charvels. This place gives me a lot of GAS!

I joined the JCF in 2001 and it's fair to say that I've bought my fair share of J/C guitars since then! However, part of that might be due to the general web contacts I've built up in parallel to the JCF, and also that I earn more money now

I wonder if Jackson is aware of this fact?
I'd have just as many. I like JCF, but it has no Effect on my Jackson buying habits in any way... Sorry, not trying to be a dick.

I only own a lowly Ibanez Destroyer, but I'm not going over to join Jemsite because of it.

I no longer own any Jacksons so I'm here only for the social aspect.

I remember when i joined, i had only one guitar, a Jackson Rhoads Pro. I can see now that i didn't know shit about guitars back then. I knew how to tune them but that was it.

I entered by posting a picture of the Pro thinking it was a USA. That was my first error. Then people saw that i had retro-fitted a chrome OFR onto the Pro and you all know that it won't fit because of the recessed route. Also it was chrome! Not black as the other original parts. That was error #2 and #3 right there. Then i posted a picture of it laying outside on the ground, in gravel! Error #4! Bashing city!

I learned a lot that day - the hard way - the JCF way!

I joined after scoring a model 5 from its original owner off ebay. Have since been through several import charvels, and have loved them all, but have bought only two jacksons - one Shannon, and one custom shop - and the custom shop isn't leaving. Ever.

If there wasn't a JCF, I'd have missed meeting a lot of really cool guys, learning about a lot of great unsigned bands, and I'd probably get along better with the Mrs.

I ran across this site when I was searching for neck-thru guitars with seymoure duncan hum-pups. I wanted a new guitar with those requirements, oh yes and 24 fret neck.

Jackson guitars and this site rose to the top and I have been here ever since

good call, Garth! Apart from this constant compulsion to fire up Firefox to check the JCF for new posts, the biggest impact this place has had on me is apparent in my CD collection. I can't believe the number of kickarse bands I've been introduced to through this forum.
