Totally kicks ass. It ranks right up there with cowboy beans and mexican meatloaf. No covered dish dinner would be complete without it around here!

Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.

Must be a Texas thing, cuz I grew up eating frito pies. Good stuff.

Update I just clicked on the link and let me just say the the Frito Pies that I have had in my lifetime look nothing like that. Those look kinda gay looking. The Frito pies I have had are basically just Fritos with chili-beans and cheddar cheese.

Frito Pie is not just a Texas thing... I've had them many places, and here for a long time.

Had my 1st Frito Pie back in 88. My dad's friend who had just gotten out of Prison, taught us how to make it. Seems it was a "specialty" of the cell chef, it could be made from things you could buy at the commisary. I also grew up in El Paso Texas, so maybe it started off at Huntsville?

Oh Krimson, I have been wanting to ask you, do you know Pat or Steve Vargas, and did you know Danny Ortiz?
Come and get one in the yarbles, if you have any yarbles, you yunick jelly thou!

I discovered Frito Chili-Cheese Pie at Sonic Drive-ins about 25 years ago; pretty damn good! They also have great Chili-Cheese Fries too, each a meal in itself if you can't spring for the burger!
