My ceiling started leaking last night. Being on the 4th floor of an apartment building sucks.

This is a shot of my driveway and the neighbors backyard
The second one is taken from my driveway looking at their front yard
The deepest part is around 18" deep
          This rain sucks!!!

Last night they canceled school in my area.
I couldn't beleive they canceled because of rain, but I didn't think about the river that is down the street.

My parents still live in Maine....when I called them yesterday, my Dad joked that Southern Maine and NH were floating away....he said it was very bad......but where they are (Bangor area), there was very little rain to speak of.

Floods suck much ass....the flood of 86' destroyed our basement....caved in the entire back wall and filled within minutes...not good

Still no end in sight.....Checked the weather forecast a couple of days ago, they said it would end Tuesday. Checked it again this morning, now they are saying it's going to Friday.....and I'm on vacation this week with various outdoor projects that need to be done

Well I'm at work in Methuen next to the merrimac..our parking lot is 1/2 under water now and they expect the river to rise 5 more feet ..they are guessing this building will be underwater in the next 24 hours ...

Still raining in Southeast CT. The flood zone in my neck of the woods is gonna crest sometime this afternoon. I drove by one of the low spots on the way in this AM and the river was already at bridge level - and rising....

You guys are stronger than I am. I need sun, as much as possible, at all times. I have been to N.H. and Mass., and it does stay gray for long spells up there. Lots of lightening too, fukkin' cool to watch from the window when it's crackling into a pile of trees in the thick woods they have there.
