Paypal Help

I bought a pod xt from ebay. And when I try to make payment via paypal, using my credit card I get a notification which says;

This payment cannot be completed because your credit card has been denied by your credit card issuer. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer's customer service department. You may want to try using a different credit card or choose eCheck instead. To do this, please click the More Payment Options link.


I tried to pay via a friends account using same bank's credit card and I got that notification again. I have paid via paypal before using the same way. And I pay my credit card bills (I hope this is what it is called) regularly.

Did you ever experience anything like this? Any recommandations?

The problem is with your card, not PayPal.
Contact your CC company and see what's going on... this may be caused by their fraud prevention system.

+1 Thats sounds like what it is. Have you used your card for other internet purchases lately? Happened to me a few months ago. They will transfer you to the security dept and they will verify a few things and then turn your card back on

I got that notification a few weeks ago. I went to the paypal site(won't follow ANY links) and sure enough it said my account was on hold til i fixed my credit card. I added the same card and it was fine.
