Yes, but, it is a much more efficient means and is much more compact than previous methods.

Using electricity to convert the water is NOT reducing dependency on fossil fuels to zero. You still have to use fossil fuels to get the electricity to convert the water into HHOS. The HHOS isn't just lying around ready to use.

The Hybrid Hydrogen Oxygen System ("HHOS") can generate sufficient Aquygen™ Gas to enrich a vehicle's traditional fuel supply (gasoline or diesel) so that a net power increase in engine horsepower ("HP") occurs. In the prototype vehicle, it has been estimated that the heavy-duty alternator requires approximately 4 HP of the stock engine's base power load. It has been estimated that the increased energy release of the combustion process utilizing the Aquygen™ Gas enrichment resulted in a net 17 HP gain.

The HHOS can be installed with very little modification to a standard piston engine. Water and oil operating temperatures are not affected by the HHOS.

The HHOS has been tested in two different vehicles (the current prototype, which is a 1994 Ford Escort Wagon, and a 1998 Ford Ranger pickup) and fuel economy increases have ranged from 22.9% to 100% depending upon the amount of electrical energy (amps & volts) that are available for the production of Aquygen™ Gas.

The HHOS would create more jobs now; there's a huge retrofit market to tap.

The HHOS is cost efficient. The economic payback on fleet vehicles could be less than six months!

Look, all I'm saying is you think that the HHOS would reduce our dependency on fossil fuels. No it doesn't, it simply shifts the dependency from oil (to create gasoline) to a different fossil fuel, mainly coal and natural gas. Like I said, the main component to create HHOS from water is electricity, and to create electricity, you still have to use fossil fuels. The fossil fuel dependency simply gets shifted from oil to coal/natural gas.

Sorry Ifraan....didn't see your post on this. All it boils down to is this guy has come up with a VERY practical way to make hydrogen ,unlike, traditional methods that did not yield much bang for the buck, so to speak....plus, it has more energy per volume.... I guess you could call it " high octane " hydrogen.-Lou

Electricity... and you don't have to burn fossil fuels to generate it.
After all, gas engines require electricity to run also.
Use a battery to get things rolling and then an alternator/generator to keep things going.
Nothing new here at all.
The only thing different is the fuel and the amount of electricity.
So you use a high output alternator like those guys that make competition car audio gear use instead of a normal one. No big deal at all.
Then we can tell the rest of the world to go pound sand. (pun intended)
