Big fish but why did they have to angle, capture and kill it?

It looks like a big, strong and healthy fish, it should be allowed to reproduce. And yes I believe hammerheads are endangered, a lot (if not most) of sharkspecies are.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

Yeah, that kinda sucks the reporter referred to the shark as a "nuisance".

What´s the use of catching sharks? They have been in the Tampa Bay and approaches for ages. Sharks are a endangerd species and you cannot catch them all anyway.

Three years ago there was a deadly shark attack in this area (close to the so called pass-a-grille). I used to swim in these waters when I was a teenager. I don´t do it anymore - guess why.

We move into animals homes...and kill them..because they have no where else to go and are a "nusiance"..BS!! They were there first.

Let's see... the score is now humans 1,000,000,001, Sharks 500? I've got a healthy fear of sharks, but its absolutely useless to pull a shark out of water "because it was big." Lot's of ecologists say that if sharks are removed from the food chain the results could be devastating to the world... but then again us humans are pretty good at messing things up for all other species.

(BTW, I am a hypocritical meat eater... )
