  • Schumi cheated in Monaco

Michael Schumacher is one phenomenal race driver. No question about it.
He is also a cheater. Today at Monaco GP qual, i'd say he cheated again. He has done it before - he even became world champion by cheating - remember when he pulled in front of Daemon Hill in the closing laps of the final ultimate race years back, therebye winning the title?
He is a smart cheater and he is so intelligent that he often gets away with it. He is so focused and dedicated, that he probably think he has the right to do it. He doesn't score any point in my book. He is phenomenal but i don't like his character.

That´s not cheating, it´s called driving a racecar .. I´ll bet you everything I own that Hill would have done the exact same given the chance. I know I would have....

That said, I´m not a Schumi fan, either.....

Exactly, I've never been a schumacher or ferrari fan. And I've met him a couple of times. Hill was just a friendly person altogether. I might have been young when I tagged alongside F1 with my aunt and Eyckmans in the Pedigree team, but I do remember the smell of burnt rubber and fuel.

I missed the qualifications, gonna definitly watch the race, monaco's my favorite GP, alongside silverstone.

      What did he pull?

Zerbs, I don't agree. The guy is a winner - at ANY PRICE. Hill wouldn't have done the same. He is much more a gentleman and have good sportsmanship. By following the GP series for 30 years, i see what is good sportsmanship and what is not. Schumi is cool, calculated chainsaws-on-the-elbows business attitude. You can read it in the faces of the team members - they were embarrassed.

No Zerb, that's cheating. He tried the same thing with Villeneuve in 97, but fucked himself. He clearly deliberately ran in to the side of Jaques car, which is exactly what he did to Damon the year before.

This morning, he deliberately parked his car on the circuit to block Alonso from out-qualifying him, which he would have done. Alonso's lap was 1/10 of a second off Schumi's even AFTER being blocked.

Schumi is a fantastic driver, and it's a real shame that he has this compulsion to make himself look like a cheater, and bad sportsman. IMHO it's a very large stain on an otherwise glorious career. Fortunately for him, his indiscretions will be forgotten over time, whereas his records will stand for a long, long, long time.

Exactly. Is there any doubt whatsoever that Alonso would have had pole? Not in my mind. I hope Renault cause a stink about it. Did you see Flavio's face? He was fucking livid!!!

He parked it on the circuit?! What caused him to? Did he blow his engine or something?

Regardless, that is pure bad sportmanship and plain wrong. He even deserves disqualification for that.

Not cheating per se, but that supposed 'teamleader decision' to have Barrichello hold off literally meters from the finish so Schumi could finish first and secure his worldchampionship points was probably even worse than anything he's ever done.

I saw that the stewards are investigating the incident with Schumi. I so much hope they will act with balls and hit him with a penalty. Please stewards, i know he's the mighty Schumacher but you need to stop this.

The great Schumi couldn't handle a little lock-up of the right front tyre going 40mph into the LAST corner! Oops guys, i couldn't control my Ferrari so i parked it here in the narrow streets of Monaco. Sorry, but i win!

The tyre locked up in the last, of all, corner?

Yes he did, looking at the replay from different angles and IN CAR, sickens me! He deliberately places the car on the track, not hurting his Ferrari on the barriers, but enough to partly block and ruin the track of the following cars.

I don't care whatever fucked up explanation Ferrari will hit us with, like his steering column broke or he punctured a tyre.... the guy CHEATED! DAMN IT

                          Yup.

The man who holds every single Formula One record "accidentally" locks his brakes, blocking the last corner of the circuit, literally seconds before the qualifying session ends, while he, coincidentally holds P1.

                          Not fishy at all.

Obviously still many remember the Hill and Villeneuve accidents/incidents. So probably it won´t be forgotten in a long time.
