AND I HAVE A FRIGGIN BACTERIAL INFECTION ON MY CHIN THAT IS THE SIZE OF A MARBLE...Sorry for the caps, but I am getting married in 4 days and I have a large, marble-sized lump on my chin that turned out to be a bacterial infection... at least that is what we are hoping for. The doc said it was a case of Cellulitis where the tissue under the skin becomes infected and can harden causing a lump. Typically you get this from a cut or bug bite that got infected.
I had Impetigo twice on the same spot when I was a kid. That was not good. This feels a little different, though it still itches like mad and it is unsightly. For those of you who do not know, Impetigo is very contagious and it can take a while to go away. Doc says it is not the same thing and it is not contagious. He perscribed me some medicine and said it should go away in a day or so. I would not care, cept I am getting married in 4 days and going on my honeymoon for two weeks. I do not want to have to be a leper by myself the whole time.
So ya call the witch doctor, say a prayer, bat this thing off with a stick, ANYTHING to make it go away before saturday.
