No. Its proven true that Derrish troops actually captured him, and had in custody for over 10 hours before releasing him to the custody of U.S. troops.

Where did you hear that ? That would mean the troops that claim to have cought him were liers and especially the one that first saw him and told Sadam the Bush send his reguards. I find that hard to believe and Google produces nothing reguarding that. Surely there would be an article somewhere on the net about it.

I did find one article about how supposedly Kurdish forces found him, drugged him, then left him for the US forces to find. Also hard to believe. If Kurdish forces found him, we would probably only have his head for trial and probably only after they played soccer with it for an afternoon.

According to a news report on Yahoo, an Al-Qaida website is rejoicing in al-Zarqawi's death because he's now a "martyr". I must admit that I'd be very happy if all of al-Qaida and its followers could become "martyrs", especially the biggest coward of them all, Osama bin-Laden.

Well of course he claimed that it wasn't the Americans that caught him. It's bad for his pride to let the world know that the Infidels drug him out of a hole in the ground like a big fat rat. YEP, that's who I will believe. I will believe Sadam and I will also believe Government and News Agencies that clearly hate the US, the Bush Administration and clearly have done everything in thier power to derail our efforts. That's where I will get my unbiased news.
