Sold my first guitar- a pro martin thunder dulux, a big hunk of wood made by martin with twin dimarzios- for a zebra striped piece of garbage called starforce. In my defence, I was 14 and had just bought a poison album. Did I say defence???

Apparently, this turned into a dumbest equipment thing you've ever done.
Was that the inital purpose of this post?
If that's the case....I did 2 equally dumb things

        #1...trading/selling my tribal Jackson Firebird
#2...Selling my 1964 Gibson Firebird V in Cherry (which is just about unheard of for that year)

I'm heartbroken to this day about those 2 guitars. And I sold them for no other reaons than for money to do other guitar deals with.

Sold a list of guitars and a couple old Marshall heads. I won't go into detail. It still pains me.

Sold my RR limited #12 and a Kramer Nightswan with the lightening bolt finish. Both were mint. I sold the RR for $2,000 (making a $250 profit), now try buying one for $2k!
No honey, I have always had this Jackson....

I traded an IC400CS Iceman (My first guitar I bought new) for a new B.C. Rich STIII. The Iceman was a much better guitar.

Bought several packs of Dunlop tortex plecs (green ones), then discovered the black 1mm nylons.

Used them for a while, bought a nice storage of them, then discovered the Pickboy carbon nylons.

Apart from that, no really bad gear choices, I miss nothing I ever sold.
That said, I haven't sold a Jackson yet.

Exchanged my DXMG for a GT8 when I could've bought the GT8 later. Then took the piss further by using the credit note for my naffed warrior case towards a used DX10DFS that will cost to get set up properly.

I traded in a 70's Marshall non-master JMP 2x12 combo (top controls) several years ago....that was the dumbest gear move I have made....so far.

I knida wish I hadn't sold my 2nd guitar, a MIJ Fender Strat that I bought while I was in Japan. White with a rosewood board. Not irreplaceable, but I'd like it back... I still have my 1st guitar.
