  • Saving You Tube Movies

OK I tried the Greasemonkey program and saving the files as a flv file.

After I hit save and go back to locate the flv file I am not seeing any of the files I save in my documents folder.

Don't know what is wrong but anyone have an easier way?

    Take a look at this:
Easy downloading of videos in multiple formats from various video publishers by means of bookmarklets.

I use VideoDownloader for Firefox, but that bookmark works great too.

To convert .flv to other formats, I use Super:
SUPER © is a free enhanced 3D video converter encoder player recorder. It has built in all the required video codecs and audio codecs to encode from and into any possible multimedia format in 2D or in 3D. Rendered output files for PC, iPhone, Xbox, Android, PS3..

It's free and works better than any other converter.

      Thanks for the link.
      I downloaded SUPER.
I want to convert a .WMV file(video) to a file I can burn to a DVD to play on my TV.
I dragged the .wmv file I wanted to covert into the blue area.
Do I select the pulldown option file #1 of( VOB DVD compliant?)
      Then what?
      Thanks!

Don't know really. Probably yes, and then drag it into Nero when making DVD video. I've never done that before. My DVD player plays divx .

BTW, if you are going to download Super.. it may be obvious to some, but..I had to wonder where the link to download was on that page from the link above. Make sure you look for the little arrow above the red line that says 'main features'..yeah.. click on it.

That will take you to the link, which will direct you to the download sites page... its at the bottom.
