I'm very sorry to hear about Fred, Jeri. I buried my boy, Oscar, in the yard a couple of months ago. It's just heartbreaking.
      Hail yesterday

RIP Fred, thanks for being our buddy, and such a good boy. I love you.
          My sincere compassion!

Always a tragedy to lose a beloved friend and pet.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

I'm sorry to hear that Jeri.....I know how attached pets can be (2 dogs for me) and they are family members.

              RIP Fred....

Man I'm very sorry to hear this sad news-I have lost pets in the past-several cats and one dog-everyone has killed my heart-I have my cat and my girlfriends cat-love them both dearly. Here's a little poem that my mother gave me awhile back.

"Beloved master, should the Great Master see fit to deprive me of my health or sight, do not turn me away from you. rather hold me gently in your arms, remembering sunny days and hours upon hours of play and companionship, and allow skilled hands grant me the merciful boon of eternal rest, and I will leave you knowing with the last breath I drew, my fate was ever safest in your hands."

Your pets in pain is a horrible thing to go through. Our rottweiler had thyroid cancer and it was terrible. i hope your cat makes it ok.

Tony, that was very nice of you to post that poem.
