My little in-house jam amp is the Rage II. For such a little guy, he can crank...especially when I have my Boss Metal Zone (MT-2?) on. I'll crank it every now and then. I'm looking at upgrading in the future and I'm heavily leaning towards Peavey. So I say, Yes.

    Never tried their guitars.

Come on Ron. Go new just this once for Matt's sake...bet if you bought a guitar and amp together he'd give you a great deal...

I'm definitely a Peavey fan. I have owned tons of their stuff through the years and every bit was top notch. I still use an 80's Peavey bass amp, and one of their older digital conversion rack power amps. Rock solid stuff. Matter of fact I just picked up a pair of their "PV" series PV215 speakers, and I'll tell ya, there's no better "bang for the buck" on the market right now! I'm getting ready to buy one of their new power amps also.....maybe I can buy it from you!

Wow, I'm surprised to see this kind of response... I was under the impression the line was a tough sell these days. I'll definitely let you guys know if I end up bringing the stuff in here, if so it'll be right after NAMM.

They make good guitars, amps and cabs. I had and played several Peavey guitars and had a few amps and really liked them.

I'm going to be looking for some new PA cabs within the next few months and have been considering Peavey.

Another + for Peavey. I have a Transtube Special for my medium size amp. Great bang for the buck. Also have a 2000 Wolfgang. It's almost too pretty to play. I've had a few other things thoughout the years from them and they were always top notch. Never had any problem with the equipment but I have contacted customer service for various information and they were always super helpful.

Amps? Solid line of stuff and my impression is they are good sellers. Don't use them myself, but have thought about picking up one or two of their models. Certainly heads and tails better than the Peavey stuff of my youth (80s).

Guitars? I hear good things, but personally just can't get into their body styles. I suspect the guitars are a tougher sell since EVH left, though. Let's face it - whatever you think of the guy - the Wolfgang sold damn well with his endorsement. I doubt its successor will do half as good without him.

Then again, WTF do I know? :lol

I have a Peavey guitar and amp. Have used a lot of peavey gear along the way too. With the lines you already carry, I think Peavey would be a good solid addition.

Shouldn`t be difficult to "move" the product.

Do they still make a guitar similar to the Vandenburg that's any good? those seem cool
