  • The "Cubicle"

I just saw a segment on MSNBC on the "Cubicle". Your little world. They had some flighty guy show how to make your "Cubby" corporately correct. I spent about 2 years at Charles Schwab in a "Cubby". I helped them launch their mutual fund business. But, my "Cubby" was mine. I had personal stuff in there. I played around with the placement of my computer stuff. It was a mess. But, my quality of work was excellent. All those fucks could do was whine about how my "Cubby" was this and that. If you have never been in a cubicle 8 hours a day, you don't know what I am talking about. It's unnatural to keep a person in such a confined area without having his or her space as comfortable as possible. A content worker in his "Cubby" is a valuable asset. "Free Cubby!!!!!!"
I am a true ass set to this board.

I delivered and installed Steelcase wokstations (cubicals) for years........ You have to make them as comfortable as you can....... Shit, you spend more time there each week than you with you family...
