Why do women get themselves into this situation in the first place? why? I have seen this all my life and I just don't understand it! There are alot of gentlemen out there that are single and available and would treat women with respect but the majority of women do not want to have any part of their world. It's a mystery!

Like I said, bad boys exhibit alpha-male qualities and that just lures women in on a whole different, primal level. As civilized we think we are, on the sexual field it's all still pretty instinctual and animalistic(sp?).

Ward is right, but I'll take it a step further. You either are an alpha-male or you aren't. Sure, you can pretend you have plenty of other options and aren't going to kiss her ass, but there's no substitute for actually having plenty of other options & knowing it. I'll say it again, you don't have to be cruel or an asshole. You have to have self-respect and be a man. Play games all you want, but any woman worth a damn can tell what you're made of.

His new woman bought him a brand new Corvette for his birthday because he had to sell his cherry '62 Vette to pay off the divorce..that's nothing to her...she's worth 4.5 Mill.

Thanks Bill. As I said, I've been through this before, but it doesn't make it any easier. I just keep focused on my kids and try and keep my shit together. I'm currently getting professional help to get me by and hopefully make me a better person when I reach the other side of this storm.

I'm already there bro. 14 years and 2 failed marriages later, so I know what you're going through. My girlfriend knows I will never marry again, and she won't either...so we're on the same page with that. Ours is an "at will" relationship...if either of us were to walk, then so be it. I'll be paying child support.

Our relationship isn't the greatest either...it's not doomed to end at this point, but there's kinks we need to work out and just try to keep a little family spirit alive. That's all either of us want out of this.
