the problem is, you have to have such old firmware to play emulators that you wont be able to play ANY new games, meaning any games that have been released this entire year really.

There is a mod chip out that allows you to play everything, but it's $100 and then it costs another $100 to install. so basically you are paying $400+ for a machine that can play 15 year old games. worthless.

nahh you wrong there mate-well off the mark?I have played the latest games on 1.5 firmware.Just google psp homebrew and take the time to read up on the exploits that make it play the modern games.I am living proof that the PSP hacked to 1.5 plays modern games.There is also a fucking funny thing that norton does to this hack when you download it on your pc-it calls it a PSP Brick and norton says it will kill a pspload of bollox designed to scaremonger

the psp takes too long to load games when i want to play while taking a crap. by the time the menu is loaded im already done.
