Yes, my friends, the tour has bitten me hard. I just scored this bike:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

1999 Lemond Tourmalet 51cm (actually Lemonds sizes a little small, the frame is actually around 52.5cm)
Full Campy Centaur 10sp cassette (20 speed)
    Campy Vento rims
    Panaracer Category Elite tires
    FSA Compact Carbon Fiber crankset
    Carbon fiber seat post
    Quick change chain
    Avatar 143 seat
    Look pedals

This bike rocks the house big. Super fast and handles like a dream. The groupo is the smoothest one I have ever owned and the Vento rims are real lookers.
I put 10 miles on it yesterday and 10 today.

              Is that a steel frame?
I've got a Klein Quantum (aluminum) and an Airborne Zeppelin (titanium).

Both with 18-speed DuraAce... I'm a Shimano man myself.

I got a titanium Seven with DuraAce groupo and Mavic Ksyrium rims. The bike is probably worth more than the car I drive.

I used to commute 15 miles to work, rain or shine, but now i work mostly from home, so I'm not riding as much.

Yea, its the steel frame. They switched to aluminum for the Tourmalet around 2004.
I have historically been a Shimano man myself but currently my Y-22 has SRam 9.0 and my Lemond has Campy Centaur.
I gotta tell ya.. the Campy is nice. Really smooth. That crankset helps out alot too. Its a work of art.
