    undisputed "kings" of southern rock are...

    watched CMT top 20 southern rock songs of all time.

    made me stop and ask who are the true kings?
    my pick would be ZZ TOP.

        Probably Skynyrd, but my favorites were/are The Outlaws and Molly Hatchet.

            southern rock is my favorite type of music. metal rocks, but southern rock, backyard BBQ's, drinks, and women... just friggin rules.

              Skynyrd and the Allman's.

              I really like Shinedown - I know they are relatively new, but they are a great band.
