Not true at all. Although very uncommon, it does happen and there are reported cases.

it does appear that wolf attacks in North America are quite scarce, and only one known fatality, Cougars is a whole nuther story,,

No, rabies would be classified as unhealthy, not healthy wolves.

I am a Hunter and outdoors kinda dude, but hunting form the Air for anything makes me sick as fuck Hell, even as a hunter, I feel there should be very limited Wolf hunting if none at all. I love dogs and this may have something to do with my opinion. Basically, hunting from the air is NOT hunting, it is just slaying-not cool. Jack.

My guide/pilot in Alaska last year was named Mike Litzen. He did the aerial gunning thing, strictly for wolves. It's all mandated and controlled by Federal and state gaming commisions. The reason they were trying to control the wolf population at that time was because the wolves had wiped out the caribou migration. Years back, thousands of caribou would migrate all across the state. Now, you see caribou in Alaska, but in groups of about 10. The only migration left is in Canada now.

Everything has a right to exist on this planet, but enough is enough. Population control for certain animals is very much needed in certain areas.

I mean, even flies have a right to be here, they're actually very beneficial. They help break down dead or decaying matter and our landfills would be unbearable without them.

But if they took over your house and they were trying to eat all your ham sandwiches and Doritos, you'd begin to control their population, right?

That's a very thoughtful and reasonable argument you made there. And that's why it won't work.

I love to club me some baby seals too.
