Great animals ... they have adapted to a fear of humans out of fear of being exterminated ...

My old dog was a hybrid .. 75% Eastern Timber Wolf and 25% Malmute... She was awesome and the best canine companion I'd ever had ..
Don't worry - I'll smack her if it comes to that. You do not sell guitars to buy shoes. You skimp on food to buy shoes! ~Mrs Tekky 06-03-08~

For some reason "Actions taken" and "Actions needed" sounds kinda funny.
If you're flammable and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit. Unless you are a table.

                Done,

I would love to have a wolf but, it would probably eat my cat for a snack...

I am all for the repopulation of the larger predators that have been hunted down to near extinction, such as the wolves and cougars (Florida is working on getting the Florida Panther, aka Cougar population incresed) Look at Colorado for instance where they have wiped out the predators, and then the bleeding hearts in Boulder banned prairie dog hunting. now they are infested with the parasite and disease riddled varmints,
But people have to remember these predators are not cute cuddley little furballs, these are dangerous animals and there will be incidences where domestic livestock and even people will fall victim to them, this is the natural order and we need to learn to live with it The idea of encountering a Cougar or wolf while out hunting or hiking isn't too appealing, but thats the risk you should have to take..

There is not a single attack by a healthy wolf on a human that has been documented.
