  • What kind of picks do you use?

I mainly use Fender Mediums and Dunlop .73 tortex picks. I want to get my grimy little hands on some Ultex picks though.

I use the black Jazz 3's, or anything over 1.4. Used to use the Gator 2.0's but I go through those way too fast.

Dunlop tortex sharps. The pick comes to a sharp point and is a little longer than most pics. Real precise and the attack is great. They are awesome

Thick as a motherfukker claytons, or thin but stiff as a motherfukker metal picks, i like the metal ones better because you get the thick feel on the notes
of the claytons but with much less mass to the pick. I heard warren de Martini used 'em so I had to use them too. great tone out of them as well.
