After the Great White Incident club owners frown upon that practice. That's why we save it for parking lots and house parties!!!

Bill, obviously not having gone to a show lately:

              Wristbands indicate

              1. Bandmember
              2. Over 21 (allowed to get drinks)

Oh yeah..I got those once in a while..not often..

I never got that as a band member tho..not a once!

                I haven't played out in a while..maybe something new.

That wouldn't look ggod with my spiked gaunlets and loin clothe..I don't think...OK maybe sticking out of the loin clothe..that'll be cool.

wouldn't the instruments give that away?

That's the great thing over here - if it's a licensed venue, they'll check your id at the door. If they let you in, you must be 18 & old enough to drink. No need to identify you as "old enough" once you're in the venue, although the bar staff might card you if they're unsure.

All ages shows (where minors will be allowed in), nobody drinks.

I've never had to wear a wrist band as a bandmember here and have played for 20+ years. Guess it's different here...

Haha, looks like you guys are playing a rubber room in a mental facility, those walls are wild...

yeah, no wrist thingys for me either..

I thought the same thing about the walls..it looks like a padded cell...hmmm..maybe they have to put those up whenever Ace plays there..makes sense.

That's EXACTLY what the wristband on each wrist means. This particular club(Zen Sushi in Silverlake) is 18+ and you get a wristband if you are 21+ so you can drink. The other one is for being in the band. I usually don't get TWO for one show. Sometimes I'll hve friends playing at different venues on the sunset strip and I'll walk around between, say the Key Club and the Whiskey with different passes for both shows...
