I'll never forget it Sam. Walk out of the barracks and like to die. I won't even mention those old, no a/c having saunas on Camp Geiger with the bathrooms across the street. :ROTF: Had those before floats. OOfaaaa.

I used to live in one of the hottest sections of Calif. where summer temps were 100+. Dry heat there was great. Then they started building lakes. People moved there for the dry heat. I haven't been there in years, but I will bet you it's like a 100 degree humidifier now.

Not this time of year.... it's 113 and humid as hell.
          Our monsoon season sucks.
110+ temps and humid for almost 2 months straight.
The only time it's a "DRY" heat is in June.

105 here in Dallas and with the heat index it "feels like" 107.

From my experience...I can't "feel" the difference between 105 or 107, I just know its hot as hell here.

I went jogging yesterday after work, around 6pm or so...it was 104 out...it kicked my ass and I had a headache the rest night

Like I always say... anything over 100 and it's just hot at that point.

It's the Northeast and the Midwest where the concern is. These guys have people dying if it goes on any longer.

No Fett, not just there, they die here too. The poor who can't afford fans or A/C..we have fan donation points to help out. Then you ration the water, limit the only other thing that can help. It's really sad.

Britons are unable to cope with anything other than 56 degrees and drizzle. We're having a brief warm spell over here, so the country has gone into a panic. I'm talking about "Heat-related speed restrictions" on motorways, reduced railway services due to the danger of warping rails. It's just been said on the radio that they're closing some schools early, 'cos it's too hot for the poor little mites. Christ, we wouldn't want little Tupac and Chlamydia developing backbones now, would we?
                    Fuckin' pathetic country...

                              Time to cook some eggs.

We're only supposed to hit 111 today.
Not bad once you get used to it. I've lived in this kinda heat since forever... I hate it, but I know how to live with it.
I feel sorry for the guys that have to work in it, but again... you learn to adapt.
