I'm in the same boat. I've been playing for 20 yrs, and still put alot of time into the guitar and I'm nowhere near as good as I should be. There are kids around here with incredible technique (fast, clean, all that MAB over the fretboard crap), and have only been playing for a few years. I guess you've gotta keep plugging away at it.
