chuck, would that be like a testosteron plaster or patch you would put on your body and carry around for awhile? If that's the case, someone mis-calibrated that plaster or let it sit too long.

I just knew that the hilarious story of Landis drinking alcohol the night before, would be used by him, to explain or blame for his high level of testosteron the day after. That is so bullcrap and sounds like something he did on purpose, so he could use it in case he got into trouble.

He's a disgrace to the TdF, The Sport and his colleagues.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

Based on the beer-testosterone link, I could win the Tour da Bike and populate half France doing it. We don't pay the big bucks to watch "clean" atheletes. Let them juice up. They all do it anyhow. Isn't this whole thing about "sport"? This is in a world where it takes what it takes to win.

The big question now is: Does it really make sense to even HAVE the TDF anymore?? I mean, practically all of the top favorites were booted for substance use, and now the winner is also not exactly "proven innocvent" yet....

Kind of makes the whole shebang a Joke IMO (not that it wasn´t before, but...)

To the TdF and the sport, yes... but his colleagues are doing a good enough job disgracing themselves IMO....

Does anyone in the US even really care about bicycle riders? There was a time in the '30s when they ran indoor highbank bike races. Just like Roller Derby without the contact. Now, that would be cool. And another thing, if those bikers are going to to ride all over Europe, just set them loose with no rest periods or days off. If they die on the road, so what. If they want to juice, let them. Nobody is forcing these pedalasts to do it. I want to see a broadcast of a race of big-city bicycle messengers doing their regular job in real traffic.

Yeah, most likely that was his drug of choice. Apparantly you have to be supre careful about the duration of use.

                  He wasn't super careful.

The sport is in a real sad state at the moment and the governing bodies are as bad as the athletes. It isn't getting any better anytime soon either. Short of taking away all the money involved, you aren't going to clean it up either.

I care and so do quite a few other people here. Like I have stated in the past, this has been my sport of choice for more than 20 years. It ain't basket/foot or even base type ball, but it is a blast to watch and participate in. For the record, what does it for me is mountain biking. I am a 24 hour endurance racer and have participated in several team 24 hour races as well as offroad long distance races. I am doing a 24 hour race this coming spring solo. To me it is all about the challenge. Come do the 186 mile off road one day ride my friends and I are doing this october to benefit a charity of one of my bro's.

Modern road racing IS a joke and I hope they do something to make it fun again because it really sucks to see the circus it has become. I mean Bozo the Fucking Clown type circus.
