          Dare I say, Under Eden?

          (If you can hear the guitars in the mix, that is.)

                "iced earth" => Eb

                early times of "Testament" => E

                Annihilator => E

                I'm not sure but manowar can be E

                    I know, right?!? LOL I've got a couple guitars in E, a couple in Eb and one in D. I've got my 7-string for the B tuning. I was just wondering what bands out there today use E or Eb, since it seems there's very few that are now.

                        Normal 2 notes in a power chord would be 1st and 5th. Couldn't resist!

                            Hey cool, I'm over there all of the time. Diminished to b is a Necophagist song. Damn, small world.

                              your right there but as the only guitarist in the band i also need the parker for acoustic tones and heavy overdriven tunes in some songs so i need at least two guitars for a majority if tunes.I have sorted out my tones now to a simple crystal clear clean and a verby overdriven voice that i can clean up with the volume pot on the guitar rather than mess around with floor pedals that keep me in one place all the time
                              I thought about doing the digital moddeling but the sound does suffer a hell of a lot mate,but then again it might work on some tunesworth thinking about if you only have a couple of tunes with dodgy tunings!or i spose i could get one of those fugly line 6 guitars!lol
                              yeahh pain in the arse to lug around 3 or more axes per gig and my main worry is them getting stolen!

                                Not to mention your break is pretty much shot in part or whole keeping the axes properly tuned if you do it yourself.

                                I've seen Musicman Axis with piezo bridge options...throw a D-tuna on a floyded one and half your battle is over with one axe .. makes me want to go find one!
