I look at that a little differently, Kev. I think all fans chime in more when their team is doing well. For the Sox, that usually means early in the season. For the Yanks, they usually pull out front when it really counts in Aug/Sept. So we usually just lay low until the inevitable happens.

    • I'm telling you Don, as long as Slappy is there, yous guys ain't winnin shit !! He's been a tumor to every team he's ever been on. I'm not challenging his talent, the #s speak for themselves. Even his errors are amazing to me, not that i'm complaining

Well, I thought about it, then I realized, we have Don Mattingly back and hes the reason. Though he's Mr Yankee, Donnie Baseball, or whatever, he did have a good career, but how many rings under his belt? Zippo.........he's the reason.

        • The curse of the Soriano!!!! I read the Sox are going after him also. Everyone George wanted the Sox are gonna get over the waiver wire.
Clemens, Soriano, Billy Deegens even. Yanks will be stuck with all the old veterans. Hell Randy Johnson is getting so old it looks like he is starting to mummify.
          We must!
          We must!
          We must increase the bust!
          The bigger the better!
          The tighter the sweater!
The boys are counting on us!

He'd be a good fit for Boston, though I wouldn't want to see it. It would be easy enough to replace Loretta Lynn over there at second.

Well, my pick would be Horace Clarke.

Yeah. But I'm leaving out in 25 min for a 4 days vacation and 'no' internet. I'll be bringing the Mod 4 on this trip.

I also expect the Yanks to be up 4 games when I get back.

                        • Soriano at 2nd over Loretta? I'd pass on that. Don't your remember what he was like at 2nd? There's a reason he was moved to the outfield you know.

                          • I should have never left, you people are insane. And Mayday, I've left sully all kinds of messages, even gracious ones on every tenth call or so, i haven't missed a pitch this year, and sully won't come near me anymore-lol
The Sox are just starting to gag, i detect a litlle swelling around their throats, they're getting ready to choke. You can't get air down their throats with a pin right now.
AND DON??? what the fukk is this blaspheming? That's it, you're all a bunch of sox fans, it's me against the world. and the world is in deep ,deep, fukkin' shit. Crawford 2 home runs, Schilling out by the 4th inning, you lose 9-7 tonite, and we tear Baltimore's arm off and beat them down the street with it. God bless, have a killer weekend, and fukk all of you-lol
I mean it!!!!-lol This is gonna be fun , solo man is back. I'm done supplying facts, i'm strictly here for insults only, and I have a computer now at home, but I don't use it weekends during the day because, well, it's gay. I'd take Soriano with no arms and only half of one half of a calf of a leg over Loretta at his best-lol
What use do you have for a 40-40 guy anyway right? Send him home where he belongs.
Yanks have a cable channel, na na na na na na!!!!! we'll send you guys and everyone else a check when the seasons over, don't worry, the Yanks will assure that there will continue to be baseball next year if they win the whole thing or not. Why? because without their check, 23 teams go under.
Oh man, Don, you got me going on the Mattingly roast. The only curses are the ones that are imposed by ourselves, no curses in new york, the Jets just suck and always will. but the knicks make the jets look like the yankees, and the rangers showed some life , until the playoffs started-lol
I hope the yankees payroll goes to 400 million next year and that teams can't even field a team unless they want double A players and we ruin it for everyone after reading the horrific posts in this thread during my absence.
This is war, and SULLY, it's gonna be another 9 phone messages until it's remotely congratulational or even basically civil you Red-White Sox washer.
I'm on a roll with two eggs and butter, and so are the Yanks. I'm on the mound tonite, so i have to go warm up, gotta go, something stinks in here, smells like dirty socks or something. (putting on wetsuit now , not for surfing, for fire retaliation) Why has it taken this long ? oh yeah, there's like 5 of us who follow basbeball on this board-lol Mayday, I want my cup back-lol
Solo-PM me for my digits so we can rip each other apart. Give me a shout.
Missed ya dude., Don, I'm still in shock, I'm gonna eat 3 Greenstones now and try and forget what happened in here today. Superfly, it could hit 20k-lol
good, i mean bad luck tonite!!!
                            Your truly,
