Oh man... I feel your pain. I have wicked long hair (to my waist).
Make sure you use a conditioner on your hair in the shower, and let it sit for a couple minutes. Comb it through with a wide tooth comb even, then rinse.
Then when you get out... do not towel dry, you will get tons of knots. Just gently wring your hair, squeezing the water out.
Then apply a leave-conditioner, I use Garnier Fructis- the length and strength one.
I can't believe I'm talking about this on the JCF. Heh.
Also... NEVER brush your hair with a brush while its wet, always use a wide tooth comb, and start from the ends and work your way up.
Hope that helps!
This is the same process I used when I had long hair...except the Fructis stuff wasn't around. Mine was almost to my waist. When I would get it cut they would have me stand up. The lady that cut my hair always said that I should make sure if anyone else cut my hair they should have me stand up. I guess the reason is that if it lays across the chair it won't lay straight enough to cut it even. Now I look like a nerd so I don't have these problems.
Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!
I recently started using the Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner and it's pretty good, I like it even more than the Pantene. I usually wash out the conditioner with colder water and use a comb while rincing to get the tangles out and the soap out in one go. Wring it out and use a spray leave in conditioner, it's a cheapie drug store brand, but the bottle's almost done so I'll buy a good one.

For hair I use Schwartchkop moistering shampoo for men, it's a expensive one and it is for sale only in barber/hairdresser's shop. It's really good. I also use the Cutrin Bio+ system. It's Bio+ shampoo and Bio+ serum. It's also pretty expensive. I used it because I want to make sure my hair don't fall out when I'm 40.
Sometimes I use local made conditoner wich is made of nettle extracts, it's all natural. I don't use it as much anymore because I don't have so long hair anymore as I used to.
Also I don't reccommend any hairsprays and shit like that, aerosols are really bad. I use wax instead.
Unlike Bill I don't use anything for my pubic hair because I don't have any
And as said before I use Garnier Fructis for my PP. Trust me it does wonders

I guarantee you I have better hair than any of you fairies with your expensive products and I use cheapo V05 to wash it and some cheap ass gel afterward.
And no, I don't shave my pubes or my chest. Real men are supposed to have some fucking hair on them....I even have some on my back
Mike
Sleep. The sound doesn't collapse to riffs of early eyes either.

and on your ass too, apparently. Hence the cheap ass gel?
my.. just wear is this topic leading too?..the lockdown zone?
I may have to join the ranks of the bald anyways since its getting a little light on top, but for the moment..I can still shell out 4.00 for a bottle every 6 months to help untangle. Worse part has always getting hair caught in the window when driving... I'm sure its pretty damned commical to see tho.
Maybe over there they don't. I have never been denied because I had some hair down there.
I think you just do it to make it look bigger.
Mike
Hey you gon't get denied here, besides only a few are smooth here, but after they get the clean shaved one then they admit that hairy one isn't so good.
Bigger is always better, but it's not the main reason.
