I suppose he isn't too crazy about me hehe... I guess he thinks I'm bad for his daughter or something because I haven't been doing really well in school since, um, just about never..
He's a bit of a tyrant I guess though, cause my girlfriend is scared to death of him being mad or upset about the slightest thing.. That kinda freaks me out a bit, it's like there's something I'm not supposed to know about him or the family.. Oh well, I'll just shut up and eat my greens

I'm going to go ahead and disagree with you forever on this point.

There are certain scenarious that could come to pass in someone's life where the only appropriate course of action is to beat the living piss out of their old man.

Luckily I've never been faced with anything like that, but I know a few who have, did, and were better for it.

OK then, Let me put it this way..I've put my hands on those who put their hands on their parents..

I've done so MANY times..and took great pleasure doing it..

You could always go round to your Mrs' Dad's house and throw out all his copies of "Beefy Sailor" or whatever it is he "reads" in the bathroom.



You should never beat up your old man, but I remember the day I was bickering with my Dad, half-jokingly. As things progressed and got more bad-tempered, and more physical, there came a flash-point. Dad backed down, and he KNEW, I could see it in his eyes. He knew I could have plastered the wall with him. That was the day I knew too, I knew I was that step closer to being King.
I've never pushed it though, I know, he knows, that's enough. It just means I stand behind him these days as his minder rather than having him standing by ready to wade in and rescue me if necessary. (Which is pretty scary, cos there's no-one to come and bale me out if things get tough....!!)
