Just heard about this on the radio and I'm pretty excited. The Radio Chick (Leslie Gold, girlfriend to Carmine Appacie) is having a contest on her radio show and the winner gets to jam with Ian Gillian on the radio here in NY and wherever she's sindicated to by extension and play one song with Ian Gillian's band on stage that night at his gig here in the city.
So here's the deal as she explained it on the air. Download the guitar-less version of Smoke On The Water off of the contest site (http://923freefm.com/pages/68729.php) then record your version of the guitar to the song and submit your MP3 to the email address on the page by Friday afternoon.
