Man, sometimes I get tired of being right all the time!
Ok you can spell. But you need to get hooked on phonics dude.
    Read it again but slower.

"After reviewing photos of the carcass, Coleman said he was bothered by the animal's ears and snout. It reminded him of a case years ago in northern Maine in which an animal shot by a hunter could not be identified.

In the end, wildlife officials got a DNA analysis that showed the animal was a rare wolf-dog hybrid, he said."

He's refering to the other case in Northern Maine. Not this one. Nobody went up to examine the one the article is based on. It was eaten by vultures.

D'OH! That's what I get for posting while half asleep!

I did read another article about the Maine dog that stated they had a portion of it to test. At least I think so!

Anyway, I can't believe this is all over the news! I think we're having a slow news week or something!

Yeah the server got so flooded it crashed. The paper that did the initial story went and got whatever was left of it and sent the samples to a lab in Portland Maine and Toronto. Don't crash this site.

I doubt the vultures and scrapeaters munched on every single piece of bone to suck the marrow out.

If there's sufficient bone and marrow left, they should be able to test it.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.
