Its a personal thing involving some dudes I went to high school with... I am sure they were influential and all that and I am sure there were many other worse bands than Nirvana **Cough**Korn* Its all an opinion anyways.

But ya, obviously the perfomance was bad.

It's way better than the original.

BTW, I despised Nirvana as well. In fact I can't stand Foo Fighters as an extension of that hate. Kurt and the boys just plain sucked ass in my book. Worse bands? Hell yeah there were a ton of worse bands out there. But no other band in the history of all music will ever suck as much as Nirvana. I would rather eat a dirty crack whore out then listen to them. They are the most vile band ever. Just my opinion of course.....

All I'm gonna say is that I've never attempted to play a Nirvana song, simply because I haven't felt the need to. I mean, who doesn't play "smells like teen spirit" on guitar nowadays? It's something every kid who's just picked up a guitar wants to play it seems like, and each time it gets more and more annoying to hear it lol..
The songs of Nirvana aren't exactly super-difficult to play on the guitar, but still Kurt and co. managed to screw them up on stage pretty often because of drugs, booze, and personal issues/problems or whatever..
But then again, maybe that's part of the "charm"?

Sorry for sounding like some mean old man there, but I wouldn't want to pay money to see someone for NOT giving me what I've paid for. But I'm pretty sure not ALL their shown sucked, hell I was never at one, all I know is what I've seen recorded.. So I guess I'm easily (mis)lead

nirvana isnt bad.. the song is very infuencial.. curt cobain was a very interesting person, sad he died.. he had a lot more to give

about the performence... damnnnn this guy didnt even have a distortion channel on his shitty little amp
If the crowd is shouting for an encore, but the sound guy is shaking his head, ignore him and play anyway

I personally do not care how it was built as long as it is a good playing/sounding instrument.

Well y'know these kids are probably performing with out the benefit of heroin. A little smack and they'd be right up there with the boys from Seattle.

while that may be true, nirvana still sucked.
